Confessions of an Amateur Athlete

I had a strong summer and fall of good training. My Life Long Endurance coach definitely had me working hard and building up to big things. I had lofty plans for the beginning of the year. I was super pumped for my North Face Endurance Challenge 50k in San Francisco. But life sometimes throws us a curve ball. And sometimes for good reason!

I've had some amazing adventures this past year. Making it a pretty tough year to beat. But I'm going to do my best to try!

I met so many celebrities, was left inspired by the friends around me, and had an incredible adventure with memories to last a lifetime!

ANOTHER running injury. Tons of big races and big goals on the horizon.  I've been thrown quite the obstacle, but it's time to face the facts and get back on track!

It's been a busy week with exciting updates! From my Run the Runway 5k, division awards, personal rewards, big DISCOUNTS, and plans for my 50k Redemption! 

My big plans for my first Ultra in March have crumbled.  The odds just aren't in my favor! However, I'm not letting that get me down.  My Ultra Marathon Journey still continues! http://38.media.tumblr.com/

What a weekend to be thankful for! A Turkey Trot 10k on the trails, a new pup, and my Ultra-Marathon Training begins! 

I just clicked "Register" for my first ULTRA marathon! AAAHH!!!
