Laces & Leashes Virtual 5k

My run group #RunEatTweetAZ is hosting a virtual 5k for a cause that's near and dear to my heart, the Arizona Humane Society. Help us help animals in need.

This one hits home for me. Not just because I have pets. But both were homeless. Janie was found roaming the streets downtown and Jackson was adopted directly from Arizona Humane Society. They have become so much more then just "pets". Janie and Jackson are my children. I can't imagine a day without them.



I see so many homeless pets popping up at the local shelters. To think that they simply want a warm bed and a place to call their own, it's truly heartbreaking.  I've always wanted to organize something to give back and help these poor pups and cats, and now that dream has come!

#RunEatTweetAZ is hosting the Laces & Leashes Virtual 5K. By having a virtual race it means ANYONE can run it ANYTIME during the designated month (this one will take place in September). There are great giveaways coming down on the pipeline for this, so I highly encourage you to register and put it on your calendar! :) Plus, it's a great way to get active with your favorite furry family member.
