Don't Walk It Off, Roll It Out! Addaday Review

When things get tight, and HAIRY,
read why I choose Addaday over the other rollers.

Disclaimer: I received an Addaday roller thanks to Bibrave's BibRavePro ambassadorship. You can learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro & check out BibRave.com to find and write race reviews. All opinions are my own.

I very partial to my rollers. I am prone to injury and everything always seems pretty tight. So I use a stick before and after my runs. It really helps my performance and recovery. I've used "roller sticks" before but this was my first time with an Addaday product.

New to the massage rollers?  Here's just a few uses:
  • IT Band Syndrome
  • Plantar Fasciitis Pain
  • Sore Quads and Hamstrings
  • Shin Splints
  • Sore Back
  • Tight Achilles
  • Tight Soleus

You may have seen Addady featured in Men's Health and Runner's World. It's a pretty great tool for runners! I received the Plus Series Pro. But there are many different options, various rollers to meet the various needs of us runners. FULL LIST HERE.

I especially liked the little red "precision" gear. It helps to get the "hard to reach" spots like the Achilles. Oh man, it hurt so good!

There are a lot of different massage rollers out there on the market. No doubt you've seen a few at race expos. So why does Addaday stand out? I'll tell ya!

  • Precision gear.  First one I've seen that has this.
  • Doesn't get caught up in hair!  If you're a guy with hairy legs like me, this is the only one I've tried that doesn't snag from time to time.  The rollers are large and evenly spaced so no snagging!
  • Easy to clean w/ soap and water.
  • Found at local running stores. So you can test them out AND support your local shop!) Use the store locator.
  • How To Videos.  Their site has videos to help you target the areas that give you the most trouble.

The ONLY downside I've found is you can't buy directly from their site.  However, I love supporting my local running stores and they're carried at many local retailers.  Plus, it gives you the chance to test them out before purchasing!  If you live in Arizona, Fleet Feet Scottsdale carries Addaday rollers. Swing by the store and they'll definitely hook you up!

I also shared the Addaday love with my local running group, #RunEatTweetAZ
They loved working out the kinks before our RunsGiving! :)

I highly reccomend the Addady roller! For more on addaday, check them out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

Tell me, do you use a massage roller?  Have you ever tried Addaday?
